Maryland Baltimore Mission Christmas Devotional/Party 2014

What a wonderful night to celebrate the birth of our Savior!  I don't think you could be in a greater environment during the Christmas season that spending time with these amazing missionaries.  We had a great night all together as a mission.  We started the night off with a full Christmas dinner, ham, scalloped (funeral) potatoes, string bean casserole, homemade rolls, variety of salads and multiple desserts.  Then we had a hilarious talent show.  You can see some of the talents on YouTube. (Search Maryland Baltimore Mission Christmas Talent Show 2014) We ended the night with a wonderful devotional.  Each of our missionaries shared what the Savior meant to them.  There was a mission choir, special musical numbers and guest speakers.  We finished the Book of Mormon as a mission and shared our experiences during our reading.  We also had a recently reactivated member whose husband was also recently baptized share their testimony.  They were able to go to the temple this last week and be sealed for time and all eternity.  This is why we are doing what we are doing!  We love our missionaries.  They continue to amaze us with their commitment, desire to serve with all of their heart and the miracles they experience.  We also have incredible senior couples!  We could do none of this with out their help!  They were at the party helping in every way.  The kitchen was buzzing with their service and loving care.
We hope each of you were able to hear from your missionary and see the incredible growth they are experiencing.  Thank you for all of your support!
